Hi, I tried AOO 4.2.0 with macOS 10.12.6.
This problem has not been solved
https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=91836#p435577
(Base crashes with macro autoexec)
Now Base does not crash but the macro is not executed.

en-US 4.20 linux 64 deb downloaded and installed. Opening at speed, even across network. No spurious messages on file creation and insertion of a Table of Contents as there had been on an earlier 4.20. An improvement!

I will try with routine editing (book in progress), simple Calc sheet (bank reconciliation) and some presentations over the next few days.

Yes, so I found in about 60 mins playing with it. I've also opened and displayed some previously made presentations - all worked OK, apart from one which repeatedly crashed on entering Slide Show mode - it recovered OK, but continued to crash. I'll investigate tomorrow - time for bed now.

Linux x64 installs and runs correctly under Ubuntu 16.04.5
Installation still fails to update the core01 file as described in
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127774Good news: automatic check for AOO updates and updated extensions works as expected (unlike the 4.1.x branch)
Thanks!
