Dev-m2 on macOS

Matthias Seidel
Hi Jim, all,

I had the chance for a short test of AOO Dev-m2 on macOS.

The first thing I noticed was that the DMG "installer" had no background
graphic.
I have now added one to trunk/AOO42X along with some missing code. [1]
That will hopefully fix this problem.

The second issue was a hanging app after the first start (fresh AOO
profile). The issue is the same as on Windows [2].

Regards,

   Matthias

Hi,

Any confirmations? I don't have a mac to test anymore...

[2] is a mega release blocker.

This only happens at the first install, when a fresh profile is created.
To reproduce you need to rename your existing AOO profile and take the
German (maybe also the French) DMG.

Hi Jim,

If you find the time, can you build a dev again to see if the
"installer" now has a proper background image?

If so, I would work on graphics for the Language Pack and SDK, too.

I have no personal preference. The background graphic should be there in
every language.

I also have no mac, so a screenshot would be sufficient for me.

Thanks!
