IRIX still relevant?

stephan.bergmann
Caolàn just filed me
<http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=106774> "sal: irix code
writes past end of buffer" which made me wonder whether there is an
active IRIX port at all, or whether the better fix for that issue would
not be to rather remove all traces of IRIX from the code base.

<http://porting.openoffice.org/> lists IRIX as a regular port, but
<http://porting.openoffice.org/irix/index.html> seems rather dated (it
offers a download of OOo 1.0.3, and "was last updated on May 7th, [...]
2003").

Opinions, anyone?

Remove it entirely. If the very base sal IRIX stuff is rather
catastrophically wrong it doesn't bode well for holding on to it IMO
