Ia2 Support any ideas on when this might happen thanks.

Kevin Cussick
Hello as the subject says.

I have been asking for a long time now and now and again I come back on
the list and ask the same old question!

My dear old mother used to say if you don't ask you will not find out.

So please does anyone know if we are ever going to get ia2 support in
open office?

It would make a huge difference to us blind users that use nvda as our
screen reader thanks for any helpful answers I get on this subject.

If you are looking for anything that is not now in the program the best
place to go is to [hidden email]  that fork of OOo is
far more active and a far more likely place to find advancements in the
foreseeable future.

Sorry that you became the victim of a trolling attempt.

If you want to know something about the Ia2 stuff, you will find the
best place here or at [hidden email] as the integration of the Ia2
implementation is done by my dear colleague Malte Timmermann in close
cooperation with the IBM developers.

We have made good progress and we hope to integrate the stuff soon.

Regards,
Mathias

Please don't reply to "[hidden email]".
I use it for the OOo lists and only rarely read other mails sent to it.

Hi,

there's issue http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=107914
("Implement support for IAccessible2") and cws
https://tools.services.openoffice.org/EIS2/cws.ShowCWS?logon=true&Id=9444&Path=OOO310%2Fooo31ia2
for the integration of the code.

It looks like the implementation already has been done on OpenOffice.org
3.1 code basis, I think there's now work going on for integration and QA
on the current code basis,

Martin
