LibreOffice Pooling Contribution

[NOTIFICATION]
Given that Free Office is free and open source, ever though about pooling your resources to contribute to or migrate towards LibreOffice? This would increase the speed of development it would seem. Just a thought.

Unfortunately this is complicated due to licensing differences.
LibreOffice can and does freely use code from our code base when it is
helpful to them, as is allowed by the Apache License Version 2 (ALV2).
However the reverse is not possible as there are restrictions in the
both the licenses that LibreOffice uses that are not allowed under the ALV2.

The bright side is that any developer can license there individual code
any way they choose. So that a contributor to LibreOffice can license
there code under either of the licenses that LibreOffice uses and also
under the ALV2. Given that scenario Apache OpenOffice could use that
code in our code base.

The above scenario tends to work best with patches that are submitted by
a single contributor to correct a bug or add a new feature. It becomes
cumbersome when there is more than one person from LibreOffice
contributing as all contributors must agree to add the ALV2 License to
the code.
