OO 4.1.7 crashes on RHEL 8.1

Rose, Patrick (Peraton) (US Person)
I installed the latest OpenOffice 4.1.7 ( Milestone AOO417m1 | Build ID 9800 | Git hash 46059c9192 | Released 2019-09-21) on RHEL 8.1.  The codes crashes as soon as it starts up:

$ ./soffice

./soffice: line 123:  7666 Segmentation fault      (core dumped) "$sd_prog/$sd_binary" "$@"

$ echo $status

Comment 11 (or a variant) will probably solve it for you.

Quoting Carl from the comment:

The library needed is gdk-pixbuf2-xlib and I only found it available in
the Centos PowerTools repo which was not enabled by default on my CentOS
8 system.
Enable it with:
$ sudo dnf config-manager --set-enabled PowerTools
installed with:
$ sudo dnf install gdk-pixbuf2-xlib

Regards,
   Andrea.
