OOo 3.1 build runs fine on Suse, always hangs on RHEL 5.3

shengze

I have an OpenOffice 3.1 program built on Suse 10.2, it works fine on Suse. But when move it to Redhat RHEL 5.3,  after launching,  it always hangs when I type any key.   But if I make a direct build on RHEL 5.3 with the same source, it also works fine on RHEL.

Any clues to determine and resolve this problem?

thanks,
shengze

Start with removing all --with-system-... configure flags.

Then launch OOo from a terminal and watch for any output, look in
~/.xsession-errors and other logs on your system, launch OOo in
gdb,...

Thanks.

My build doesn't have any --with-system option used.  As I check, file .xsession-error is empty, and there is no obvious error found.  The GUI process seems in a dead loop when process the keyevent, and have no any response.

Is it caused by some lib version mismatch?
