Question about RC build files

Pavel Laštovička
Hi,

I would like to ask whether last RC builds are binary changed when they are officially
released (e.g. resigned). If not I could just post my native language build to a public
server when I approve it - simply by renaming the filename.

RCs and finally released builds (that were build by Oracle) are binary
identical. We are just linking the RC builds to the respective localized
directory on the mirror, also with a different file name.

You are testing the Czech builds, right? We would like to put the builds
also on the global mirror network, so that everybody has a chance to
download when visiting our download webpages. Please see issue 116768 as
example.

Best regards

Marcus

Marcus,
If the RCs, as we believe are binary identical to the public releases, so that RC 10 equals 3.3, then why did you urge a final QA on the en-GB (and other) RCs?

(sorry for top post, am using a mobile)

- mobile is Louis

Yes, I am testing the Czech Windows build. And of course I will use the standard
distribution method too :-)

Best regards
