The en forum is responding very slowly. It took about 5 minutes to load the
page when I tried it just now. All of the other languages responded much
more quickly, loading in a few seconds.

I agree completely. All forums of national languages, except English, open instantly. The English forum opens with a delay of 5 minutes.

Agreed - en_Forum loading very slowly here in Irelad - browser timing out.

Apologies. English was slow because I left Debug mode on. Also, Infra did increase resources on the machine as well.
