And now we have a branch "master"...
Anyone who can rename it to main?!

Matthias

I would have loved "trunk" but GitHub now defaults to main. Somehow ASF
Infra still creates repos with "master".
Our repos for both homepages were already changed to "main"...

Create a new branch and then ask Infra to make it the default branch. That’s what I did with the websites.

My bad. Sorry guys.
I had trouble adding the file to the repo because it was empty then.
Had to grab back on older documentation and that's how it became what it is.
Don't know if it is possible to delete this one and make a new branch, for instance IDLTags, to differentiate the coming content of the repo?

I already created a branch "main"
I will ask Infra to set it to default, then we can delete "master"

Matthias

After some discussion we decided to create a new repo:
https://github.com/apache/openoffice-mwikiPlease use this one only!
I will ask Infra to remove the "old" openoffice-mwiki-ext.
Additionally I will create a repo for our forum modifications.
Furthermore we plan to move our devtools from SVN to a GitHub repo.
Regards,
Matthias

Hi all,
In case you missed it, two new repos were created on GitHub:
https://github.com/apache/openoffice-mwikihttps://github.com/apache/openoffice-forumsAdditionally I asked Infra to delete openoffice-mwiki-ext:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-21218We also wanted to open another repo (openoffice-devtools). Since we need
to migrate the data from SVN (incl. history) I would be happy to hand
that over to someone else.
Volunteers?
Regards,
Matthias

I’m not volunteering, yet. If you do there is a svn-git tool which will work for history UNLESS a commit is bigger than 1GB or 2GB. I encountered this trouble with OpenOffice-org...
I think to match OpenOffice repos the default branch should be trunk.

Dave
