Hi Marcia
I have been looking for an excuse to buy a Pi :)
OpenOffice on Pi would be a very good one!
Would that be compatible with a Pi 3?
Thanks!

Pedro

Hi Marcia,
Christmas is nearing and a Raspberry Pi 400 [1] would make a great present!
Somehow I will have to be Santa myself. ;-)
Any news on the ARM port?

Maybe Marcia is able to merge it?
It seems to be for ARM32, but that would be a start!

Hi Marcia,
I don't know when exactly someone was able to build on ARM.
We have a lot of outstanding patches, maybe they need to be merged first?
You build on Raspberry Pi OS? that is based on Debian, 32-bit?

Matthias

Mathias,
I was trying on the pi ARM.
Then, I moved Debian - x86 and had a similar error.
I figured I'd try on desktop first, right - then port.
But had similar errors.
I am following the build guide.
Had a few issues like hsqldb and now cosv.
what version of gcc is preferred?
I'm using 8.3.0

This is weird. You say you are trying to build 4.1.9 but the solver version is 4.5.0 (trunk).
Are you *SURE* you're on the AOO419 branch?

I would try to build the cosv module "alone".
Go into the cosv folder and then enter make.
The line which builds the comdline.o is (I think)
Package_inc.mk:$(eval $(call gb_Package_add_file,cosv_inc,inc/cosv/comdline.hxx,comdline.hxx))
And the static library is defined I think in StaticLibrary_cosv.mk
So maybe this is some sort of gmake Issue?
