"are flagged" vs "appear as a typo"

Marco A.G.Pinto
Hello!

Sorry for this philosophical question.

Can I replace in the GB dictionary FAQ the word "appears as a typo" by "are/is flagged"?

FAQ:

I believe that both mean the same, but I need some advice before changing all occurrences.

Thanks!

Kind regards from the English Dictionaries maintainer,
